The Ice dragon is a powerful magical creature that lives in The Ice Caverns near The Goblin Prison, just outside Greu's Camp.
She offers to donate one of her Dragon eggs for an amount of gold equal to the number of scales on her body. The answer to her riddle can be found in the book titled "The Races of Arx, by Cebrafi Nin", which states that "scholars have noticed that there are 4815 scales on every specimen studied."
Alternatively, the Ice dragon can be killed, allowing the player to obtain 4 Dragon eggs, 3 Dragon bones (used to create the most powerful weapon enchantment), and a horde of Gold coins. She uses magic spells such as Ice Projection and Paralyze.
It's possible to do both, by slaying her after giving her 4815 Gold coins for the Dragon's egg.
